The outer fabric is a 15D nylon - very light and down-proof. We use a micro-stitch technique: 12 stitches per inch with a fine needle. This keeps the down inside. The Insulated Puffy Pants are compressible. You can stuff them into a stuff sack (included) for emergency warmth. They weigh only 320 grams for size M.

These pants are not for fashion. They are for campers, winter anglers, and cold-weather workers. We added a high back waist for kidney protection. The front has a snap-button fly with a zipper. The cuffs have elastic binding to seal out drafts. The Insulated Puffy Pants have two side pockets with zippers. The down is RDS-certified - we have the certificate.
